I became interested in stones and gems at an early age. Collecting with my Rock Hound family was always a big thrill. In my teens music became my passion. I traveled a lot with bands in the early 80's. While in Woodstock New York I tagged along with our singer to a small Boutique. A guy there made handcrafted jewelry. It was the first time I really noticed that sort of thing. His jewelry was simple, bold , and had lots of texture. It was different from what I'd seen in stores. That's what I wanted to do. And I have, ever since.
